The primary duties of Inside Sales Representative are to deliver superior customer relationship management in conjunction with their regional sales
organization. To achieve this objective he/she will build solid, in-depth relationships with customers aimed at fulfilling a trusting rapport and expanding customer's commitment to purchase and utilize Volex products.
Essential Job Functions
Lead Management – qualification & disposition
Assisting sales team with proper pipeline management to ensure latest position is represented for all programs.
Assist sales team with various account management activities
Assisting sales team with accurate sales forecasting
Delegates appropriate Customer Service/Order Management workflow to appropriate resources
Sales on-boarding & training
Samples request support
Identifies operational or system improvements and/or issues and resolves or escalates as appropriate.
Initiates, drives, and responds to company or team initiatives through such activities as:
a. Identifying potential growth accounts (utilizing Market Development, Vendor Reps., Market Share reports, etc.) and proactively seeking out the
b. Working closely with all levels of the Sales Rep organization to understand and engage in winning opportunities
Maintains relationships with customers by providing support, information, and guidance
Ability to respond to rapid change, perform duties with accuracy and with a strong degree of urgency, prioritize and perform work without detailed
Provide in-country’s office administrative support, including logistic, shipment billing, tracking delivery of product till they are shipped to customers.
Skills and Attributes
3-5+ years’ Inside Sales or Customer Service role ideally in the interconnect area
Ability to build customer relationships
High Energy Level
Strong Prospecting Skills
Demonstrated ability in meeting sales goals
Able to communicate in English and or Mandarin language
High Tech or Distribution experience a plus
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel to customers
Strong problem solving skills
Experienced user of Salesforce.com/other sales tools is preferred.
