This position will be responsible for acquiring new business by engaging clients over the phone, email and direct meeting. He/ She will be focused on
offering a variety of logistics services and solutions, tackling the full sales cycle – prospecting, relationship building, customer service, and operations. He/ She will be the trusted advisor, providing top-notch transportation solutions that support their
need. As a Logistics Sales Manager, will:
Develop and manage new client relationships
Maintain existing customer relations for continued business opportunities
Provide new solutions to customers via mode change or specialized services
Communicate with internally to ensure load coverage, proper service, available capacity and margin
Provide service updates to customers.
Assist in pricing based on customer knowledge.
Assist in account collections for customers.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned

Overseeing the country, KPI’s
Meet/exceed the sales country’s financial metrics, with focus on shipment volume and revenue
Plan, organize and lead sales to meet these goals.
Lead sales with new business development as well as maintain/grow current customer base (average per week)
Pricing Action Requests (average per week)
Sales Calls (average per day/week)
Leading and Managing Sales.
Maintain face-to-face contact with sales including joint sales calls.
Perform joint sales calls with sales within the country.
Manage individual sales performance, ongoing.
Quarterly Performance Reviews with sales. Review previous quarter results as well as establish action items and objectives for the following quarter.
Establish performance improvement plans with each sales, focusing on areas of need, driving improved results.
Consistent and proactive communication with sales, addressing any area of need.
Provide coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation or information needed, supporting their ability to meet sales goals.
Establish a respected and professional sales team.
Constructively assist and assist with the timely handling of customer matters related to your team.
Conduct regularly scheduled team meetings/conference calls.
Review and communicate overall country results and develop short-term initiatives, as needed, contributing to the success of the country.
Highlight sales accomplishments as well as review and share best practices.
Involvement with country customers & sales team
Assist in retaining, regaining and securing profitable revenue from new and existing accounts.
Assist sales with selling process and opportunities.
Maintain a self-development program.
Work with sales to establish and execute a career and professional growth plan.
Continual education and improvement of commercial skills including; sales, leadership, managerial, and operations to become the most effective resource for the sales team.
